IOSH Working Safely
Who Should Attend?
This course is aimed at all employees and is designed to improve the safety culture within an organisation. It focuses on how individual actions contribute to health and safety in the workplace and provides an understanding of an individual’s responsibility.
Course Objectives
To gain a basic awareness and grounding in the essentials of health & safety.
Course Content
- Introducing working safely.
- Defining hazard and risk.
- Identifying common hazards.
- Improving safety performance.
- Protecting our environment.
Course Assessment
The course is assessed by a multiple choice assessment paper and a hazard spotting exercise. On successful completion of this course candidates can choose between IOSH working safely certificate or a credit card sized ‘passport’ card.
