Course Objectives
Ensure that people assigned with environmental roles within an organisation appreciate their role and understand how to manage environmental responsibilities, specifically:

- Appreciate the role and operation of environmental management systems
- Apply management systems and advise management on good environmental practice
- Explain the component parts of an environmental management system
- Effectively communicate environmental hazards, risks and controls to all levels of the organisation
- Recognise the importance of information, instruction supervision and training in maintaining compliance and achieving continual improvement
- Identify issues that may arise from non compliance and the impact of non compliance on the organisation
